SAF Events

The Sarasota Architectural Foundation features ongoing lectures, tours and film events.

The Lecture Series features presentations and discussions by distinguished architects and designers. Topics include "Mid-Century Modernism", "Regional Modernism: The Florida Work of Paul M. Rudolph" and "Modernism and World's Fairs: from London to Shanghai".

SAF House Tours enable members and guests to tour architecturally significant homes and talk with architects, designers, contractors and homeowners about Living with History

Monthly, SAF offers an architect-guided tour of both the Umbrella House (designed by Paul Rudolph) and Cocoon House, aka
Healy Guest House
(designed by Paul Rudolph and Ralph Twitchell) to educate the public about these iconic homes and advocate the importance of preserving historic architecture.

SarasotaMOD Weekend, presented by SAF, is an annual midcentury modern architecture festival that began in 2012.

Admission costs vary and are payable online and at each event, depending on availability, by credit, cash or check. No refunds. Ticket transfers may be available, depending on the type of event. Questions: 941-364-2199, Media inquiries:
