Architect and Ft. Myers News-Press Columunist Joyce Owens, AIA, RIBA, will present a lecture on mid-century modernism entitled "Learning From Modern: A Celebration of Mid-Century Design".

Owens has received numerous awards, most recently a local American Institute of Architects Excellence in Design Award for leading the design of Canterbury School’s Upper School. Owens has been a licensed professional architect since 1989 and was the 2010 President of the local chapter of the American Institute of Architects and a member of The Royal Institute of British Architects.

Admissions $5 members, $10 non-members, $3 full-time students, payable by cash or check at the event.
